Duoject offers an award to two Industrial Design graduates from the University of Montreal

Creativity and innovation are at the heart of Duoject’s values and our main priority is undoubtedly to create products tailored to the needs of the end user. That’s why this year Duoject decided to give a 500$ cash prize to certain graduating students from the Industrial Design program held at the University of Montreal.

The Duoject Award

The Duoject Award aims to develop empathy towards the end user in the product development context. The selected projects had to present different iteration of the original concept based on user validation. The selection criteria were based on the quality of the user context study, the consistency of project iterations and the industry innovation value. This hefty challenge was successfully completed by the graduates who presented us project as innovative than relevant.

Two talented recipients

On May 5th, during the opening of EFFA (Exhibition of graduates of the Faculty of Environmental Design), we gave out the Duoject Award to Salma Amzil and Sarah Yao-Rishea. Both students have distinguished themselves with their ETNA project: a safe cooking system for the blind.

It was a pleasure for our team members to encourage the future generation by giving them a hand in their careers. Congratulations to our winners for their excellent work.
